The QNUK Level 3 Award in First Person on Scene - International is a 4 or 5 Day program based on the successful level 3 First Responder course but tailored to the Close Protection and Private Security industry.  Whilst not necessary, it is expected that candidates will have previously attended some First Aid training.

The course is a mix of taught theory, practical demonstration, skill stations, and realistic scenarios.

Below is a guide as to what could be covered, however, where possible we aim to tailor the content, delivery style and contextual setting to your needs, be they as a Hostile Environment CPO or an Executive CPO operating predominantly in urban areas.

4 or 5 days?

We set our standards on the best possible, not the bare minimum; The Awarding Organisation's guidance is that the course should comprise of a minimum of 28 hours delivery time.  A four-day course would be 6 hours per day, not including breaks or assessments

Many providers run this style of course over 4 days, some will run the course over 3 days even with 'additional content', and for as little as £250.00 per person.  You really do get what you pay for.

For private groups we offer this course over 5 Days; the additional time ensures that you have time with 'hands on kit'.   First Aid is a practical skill; it is honed in practical activities which consolidates the learning.

A 5 day course also allows for a full day of practical scenarios - not lectures but realistic casualty simulation in challenging situations.

Assessment

This course is assessed by Multiple Choice Question exam and Observation of practical skills.
